Many deals completed

Lewiston, Me– According to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan website, the Lewiston Maineiacs have acquired 17-year-old forward Stefan Fournier. The Maineiacs send 2008 fourth round selection Travis Moore, along with a third and fourth round selection in 2009 which were acquired in a reported deal with Moncton.

A 2010 sixth round selection is also headed the Titan’s way. Lewiston will receive a future sixth round selection if Moore plays for the Titan this season, according to to the Sun Journal.

Fournier, a native of Dorval, Quebec, missed some time due to injury. In forty games, he had a two goals and an assist.

Moore is a 17-year-old forward who spent last season with Truro Bearcats of the Martime Junior “A” League, had 15 goals and 18 assists in 41 games. He also played at the World Under-17 Challenge where he had no points in five games.

The third and fourth round selections were acquired in a deal with Moncton which will see the team’s swap Import selections. A seventh rounder also heads in Lewiston’s direction.

Maineiacs also send Marc Bourgeois to Cape Breton for a fifth round selection. Bouregois had 13 goals and a total of 26 points in 67 games last year.

The Garrett Clarke deal is completed. Halifax sends 19-year-old Alexis Piette and a seventh round selection. Piette had 19 goals and 16 assists in 63 games last season.

The Quebec deal is completed. Lewiston sends Danick Paquette, Peter Delmas, Patrick Cusack, Dominic Savoie, and their 2010 1st round Import pick to Quebec. The Maineiacs receive Samuel Carrier, Sébastien Trudeau, the 11th pick and the 39th (3rd round) pick in 09, along with Quebec’s 2010 1st round Import selection.

The Maineiacs receives a sixth round pick from Saint John as compensation for Brett Gallant not showing up last season.
