Sirman leads Kingston to the RBC Cup

Shawn Sirman has prolonged his season. The 19-year-old led the Kingston Voyageurs to a 4-1 victory over the Fort William North Stars (SIJHL) to capture the Dudley Hewitt Cup. The Voyageurs now head to Victoria, British Columbia to represent the OJHL at the RBC Cup which starts on Saturday. There first game won’t be until Sunday where they face the hosts, the Victoria Grizzles of the BCHL. The game will be available online (7.95 per game) live at 10 pm.

Sirman led all goalies in the Dudley Hewitt Cup with a .50 goals against average, a .985 save percentage, and two shutouts. He had a 3-1 record.

Searfoss and Fargo to the Clark Cup

Johnnie Searfoss and the expansion Fargo Force are heading to the USHL Finals. The Force swept the Lincoln Stars to get to the finals. In six playoff games, Serfoss has two goals and two assists. They are still waiting on the Green Bay Gamblers-Indiana Ice series to wrap up. The Ice have a two games to one advantage. Game Four is tonight.
