Shemansky EJHL Player of the Week

Woburn, Mass– 2009 Maine Recruit, Adam Shemansky was named the Eastern Junior Hockey League’s offensive player of the week.

In 3 games this past week, Adam had 8 points, which moved him up to the number 1 spot on the Monarchs’ scoring list. In a 2 game series with the Glades.

Adam notched 5 points with a 3 assist performance in Saturday’s contest, and a 2 goal performance, which included the game tying goal, in Sunday’s overtime win.

Tuesday afternoon at Tri Town Arena Adam had 2 goals and 1 assist against a tough Bay State Breakers team. One of the UMaine recruit’s 2 goals in that game would prove to be the game winner. Adam is the son of Dean and Donna Shemansky of Robbinsville, NJ.

Shemansky leads the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs with 18 goals and 37 assists. He had two goals and an assist Monday against the Bridgewater Bandits.
