- Updated: February 12, 2009
Portland, ME – The Portland Pirates will be getting some re-enforcements before a crucial weekend, with games against Worcester, Providence and Lowell as they battle for position in the Atlantic Division.
The Sabres sent Mike Weber back to Portland today after Andrej Sekera was cleared to play for Buffalo, beginning on Friday.
Weber was recalled from Portland on Feb. 1, after recovering from knee surgery.
Colin Murphy and Paul Baier are also close to returning and could be in the lineup at some point this weekend.
