Pirates Morning Report from HSBC Arena

Buffalo, NY – There’s a certain excitement in the air for tonight’s game in Buffalo. The Portland Pirates came off the ice from this morning’s pre-game skate with a certain jump in their step.

Everyone is really looking forward to tonight; even the Albany River Rats are enjoying the experience of playing an AHL game at HSBC Arena.

Lines will remain the same from Sunday’s game in Hershey as Dineen will roll with 13 forwards and 5 defensemen. Lines will be for tonight, Gerbe-Kennedy-Darche; Slattengren-Zagrapan-Mancari; Bouck-Schutz-Fretter; Whitmore-Hunter-Rank and Bonneau will dress as the 13th forward.

On the blueline, Gragnani was paired with MacAuley and Kostka was partnered with Macdonald, leaving Tarkir as the fifth defensemen. Mancari will most likely play both forward and defense during the game.

There is no question on who is starting in goal for Portland as Jhonas Enroth will get the start in net.
