Drummondville’s offense was unstoppable

Drummondville, QC– After turning away 66 shots on Friday night, Adrian Lemay allowed five goals on 24 shots in the 10-1 loss Saturday night. Peter Delmas also allowed five goals in relief.

Dany Masse would score four times and added two helpers. Yannick Riendeau scored once and dished out six assists. Mike Hoffman added two goals. Marco Cousineau made 19 saves in the victory.

Pierre-Olivier Morin would keep the Maineiacs from being shutout as he scored at the 10:14 mark of the first period. Patrick Cusack got the lone helper.

Dany Massé got his first of the night at the 5:40 mark of the first. Dmitry Kulikov and Yannick Riendeau would grab the assists. Riendeau would make it 2-0 at the 8:14 mark. Dany Massé and Maxime Frenette set the goal up.

After Morin made it 2-1, two minutes later, Masse would score on the powerplay with 5:45 remaining. Riendeau would get the lone helper. He would complete the hat trick with 2:50 left in the stanza. Jonathan Brunelle and Yannick Riendeau contributed on the goals.

Samson Mahbod would make it 5-1 at the 5:57 mark of the second. Marc-Olivier Vachon got the only powerplay assist. Hoffman would notch his 39 of the season with 3:15 left in the frame on the man advantage. Yannick Riendeau and Dmitry Kulikov added another assist.

Christopher DiDomenico would score his 16th at the 64 seconds into the third stanza. Helpers went to Yannick Riendeau and Dany Massé. Dany Massé would end the night with 39 goals as he scored at the 3:56 mark. Riendeau picked up the only helper.

Hoffman notched his second of the night with 10:06 to play with Olivier Hotte and Marc-Olivier Vachon notching the assists. The only unassisted marker came with 13 seconds to play when Philippe Lefebvre got his 17th of the season.
