Portland’s MJHL All-Stars

Saco, Me– The Metropolitan Junior Hockey League announced the rosters for the showcase on January 25, 2009 at the Iorio Arena in Walpole, MA. Two Portland Junior Pirates’ will be participating.
1993 born Durham, New Hampshire native Evan Schultz has 20 goals and 25 assists which is third in the MJHL North Division.
Schultz participated in the National Select 15’s this past August where he had a goal and an assist.
Fellow forward Elias Wissman (Guilford, VT) will be joining him. He has 15 goals and 24 assists on the season for the Pirates.
Brant Lucier, a Scarborough native, who plays for the Northern Cyclones will be one of the two goaltenders.

Dumoulin Shines
Brian Dumoulin was named the first star of the second game of the EJHL showcase. He had three assists to lead the North to a 4-2 victory over the South.
Adam Shemansky, a Maine recruit, had a goal and an assist in the victory.
Brian Billett made 14 saves.

Maine recruits participate in showcases.
Patrick McEachen a 2009 recruit, had a powerplay goal in the CJHL All-Star game. 2010 recruit, Carlos Amestoy, added an assist in the 2-0 victory for the CD Prospects over the CJHL Prospects.
Stuart Higgins took part in the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. In two games for the National Team Development Program, he had an assist in the 3-2 win over Team South.

Maine Moose of the International Junior Hockey League will hold a high school all-star game March 29 at the Kennebec Ice Arena at 4pm. It will involve freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
