Pirates schedule gives them a chance to solve scoring woes

I want to say I’m sorry about not updating the site as much as I would like over the last few weeks. For some if you don’t know, I’ve been working with the Journal Tribune in Biddeford, ME covering the Pirates. With all of my other duties I’ve been stretched for time over the last few weeks, but I hope to re-establish why this is the best site on the world wide web for news and insight on the Portland Pirates.

Since the start of the season the Portland Pirates have struggled trying to find the back of net. It’s not for a lack of effort, but a lack of execution and the Pirates will have a chance to right the ship as they play 10 games over the next 15-days.

This weeks notebook speaks about the underlying issues of the Pirates offense and the fact they are not getting enough secondary scoring.
